Yum! We love gyukatsu! We ordered both the premium gyukatsu and Korean kalbi and ended up liking the latter better. The marinade really comes through, and the flavor is excellent. Definitely returning again to try the other items on their menu. Highly recommended!

Huge fan of this place!! My brother and his girlfriend came here earlier in the week and it was so good that he wanted to bring us back to try it out over the weekend! We came at a super off hour so there was not a wait and we were quickly seated. We all got the beef cutlet meal and it was absolutely amazing!!! The only thing I would not recommend is the skewers, they were very tough and chewy. But it did not ruin our experience because the beef cutlet was perfectly breaded and tender!! It was so fun to cook on the heated stone. We all had a fantastic time. I look forward to my next visit here!

4.5 rounded up overall experience. Gyukatsu at heart is my comfort food, so finding exceptional versions of it in SoCal can prove to be rare/expensive/a long drive. This place hit the spot, really checked the boxes for the flavor profiles I craved and it's located a tad bit out of the IE, worth the trip. Went on a Saturday night, not too busy and got our food pretty fast. Food - (9/10) Most importantly, the meat. Excellent breading on the beef, more tender than chewiness and this wasn't even the premium set. The real beauty happened with the meats, sauces and sides in combination, like the umami flavor of the kelp egg dip, or the perfect sweet + spicy blend of meat/wasabi sauce followed by a mouthful of the cabbage. The rice was slightly mushy but the pickled veggies, sweet corn and miso soup were great. Service - (8/10) Not super busy when we went, got seated fast and got our order taken/food delivered rather quickly. The staff is very respectful but soft spoken, had to ask for a few extra items and water refills which was met with no hesitation. One of the extra plates I asked for had a bit of food on it which was no biggie just got a different one. Ambiance (9/10) Comfortable, spacious seating, along with a modern, neat design delivered a great atmosphere as my party enjoyed dinner.

Five stars for their food! Second time checking this place out. It's not busy on a Sunday at 5pm. The food didn't take too long to be ready. Got the creamy curry udon which I've been wanting to try. The top creamy part is not as dense as I thought it would be. It's actually very light and foamy, especially after waiting for a while. It starts to dissolve and deflate. The udon is good and the soup tastes great. The beef is also very soft and tender in little pieces. I'm glad that it comes with veggies inside. The mixed tempura was not bad. Just make sure to eat it while it's still hot/warm otherwise the exterior gets soggy after a while and then it's not as good. Their water is good, doesn't taste like tap water. I'm very picky about my water. The chicken katsu is also really good! Very crispy and the chicken is tender. The first time I came here, I ordered gyukatsu soba and chicken katsu for takeout. The beef in the gyukatsu soba was really good and tender. I just wish they didn't used plastic containers with super hot food (would minus one star). Would definitely come back to try more! If you like chicken katsu and tender beef, you need to check this place out!!
